Our SPED classes are divided based on each childs mental age and the challenges they have. Each child gets assessed to ascertain where intervention is needed and the parents, class teacher and SPED Director set goals that help us to produce an Individual Education Plan (IEP) .

Assessments

Before enrolment, all SPED students are assessed to ensure that they are placed in the right class that will cater to their needs.

Assessments are done strictly by appointments during afternoons only. Parents are required to bring previous reports from an Educational Psychologist or medical officer confirming the child's diagnosis.

Classes

The Voyagers

This class caters for the needs of children with a mental age below 3 years with Intellectual disabilities and includes children with Celebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum disorders and other neuro-developmental delays.

The Adventurers

The Adventurers class caters for children with Learning disabilities with a mental age between 4 and 5 and includes children with various delays due to Downs syndrome, mild Autism, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.

Speech & OT Program

Speech, Language & Sensory Development

We work with an inhouse rehabilitation team to cater for children with speech delays, sensory processing disorders, gross and fine motor challenges.

Each childs program is school based, curriculum focused and addresses their individual milestone delays.
